Sanding

Preparation is the first stage of the sanding process. The first of three cuts is done with coarse-grit papers to remove old coatings and to make the floor flat.  The "big" sanding is crucial for a fine finish. The areas where the large sanders cannot reach, such as edges, corners, and stairs, are sanded by an edger. A finishing machine is then used for the final sanding.

Staining

Staining is a skill that all wood flooring contractors should have. Our application methods ensure a smooth finish. A good stain job is only as good as the sanding job that came before it!

Buffing

Your home's beauty is often defined by the appearance of your hardwood floor. More often than not, you can improve the overall quality of your floor by polishing or buffing it rather than refinishing it completely.

Buffing wood floors removes minor scratches or scuffs and can also give your floor an attractive and lustrous shine that can last for years.

Coating

Surface finishes are very popular today because they are durable, water-resistant and require minimal maintenance. Surface finishes are blends of synthetic resins. These finishes most often referred to as urethanes or polyurethane's remain on the surface of the wood and form a protective coating. They are generally available in high-gloss, semi-gloss, satin and matte.

Barbara Hernandez, CPA and investor, entrusted me with one of her cabins(a.k.a Wild Thing)in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Barbara resides in Florida and to this day I have yet to meet her.

We communicated everything via phone, email and text messages.

Several months later she had a chance to visit her cabin and was astounded with the finished product!
